Moojiji

What is the story? Of writing on water, of the clouds passing

This page and it's contents are the devotional song of truth and love as put together by Johnny Sumeru Morrow and for his teacher Sri Mooji of Satsang with Mooji, Sri Papaji, and Sri Bhagwan Ramana Maharshi who lit the way for making deep insight and realization possible for this life.

The purpose In all, is the dance of truth and love as the dance we are all committed to whether we know it or not.

Papaji

Self is what you are. You are That Fathomlessness in which experience and concepts appear. Self is the Moment that has no coming or going. It is the Heart, Atman, Emptiness. It shines to Itself, by Itself, in Itself." - Papaji (Sri Harilal Poonja)

Although advaita vedanta , buddhism, sufism, taoist, and many other paths have complete systems and visions of this life - and practices that aim to help earnest seekers along to way to awakening - there is something universal that shines with each of us and when the time is right we may hear the call for the right teaching or teacher. When Johnny met Mooji, such an event occured, and through grace these words appear in hopes to share and honor both a universal summation of knowledge and the love which binds all things together; forming the background to all life which can simply be called love or awareness, or consciousness.

"Truth says I am nothing, Love says I am everything and between these two points my life flows" -Nisargardatta Maharaj

About Johnny Morrow

Johnny Morrow grew up in Littleton, Colorado and from a young age became drawn to the teachings and wisdom of the east; beginning with Satguru Subramuniyaswami and his book "Dancing with Siva" which stated that the soul of every being is perfect but often clouded under layers of illusion.

As a young person he decided to try and renounce the world in search of a growing and deepening interest in the questions "Who am I" and "What is the meaning of this life?".

He was then introduced to the teachings of Osho (Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh) who revealed the path of love.

Through this transmission, there was a sense that something was missing in life that couldn't be answered by beliefs or intellect alone. This was when he met Tobe Terrell of the Zen Center in Gainesville, Florida and stayed with him for some time before still finding himself in a state of uncertainty and separation with the world around

Through grace Sri Moojis teaching reached him and Lisa Schumacher of Satsang with Lisa correctly supported its approach and practice years after living at the Zen Center. This led to Mooji and Johnny meeting and sharing in Satsang and the wound core of the heart finding its ultimate home in the peace of pure-being while in the beautiful retreat land and forests of Crestone , CO

As a note - This is much of the story though the actuality of experience is not here in a biography alone. As Rumi said “(it is) to find yourself flowing deeper and deeper in ever widening rings of being”(translated by Coleman Barks)

Sri Ramana Maharshi

The 'I'-thought is said to be the sum total of all thoughts. Enquire into the source of this 'I'- thought.

The Perennial Philosophy

What is the perennial philosophy?

Regardless of background or creed or any other quality of being the perennial philosophy relies upon knowing who you are in the most direct and clear way possible.

It is important to mention the universal and open approach to the exploration of the question "Who am I" as laid out by many philosophers, saints, and sages throughout history and now. Regardless of your background or approach, true inquiry needs direct experience and loving , devoted support - which is found effortlessly as grace and willingness to be your natural self.
